1 1/2 | cups | shredded mozzarella cheese, divided | |

|||
1/2 | cup | tomato sauce | |
|
|||
1/3 | cup | pepperoni, sliced | |
|
|||
1/4 | cup | chopped green pepper | |
|
|||
1/4 | cup | chopped onion | |
|
|||
2 | eggs | ||
|
|||
3/4 | cup | heavy cream | |
|
|||
1/4 | teaspoon | salt | |
|
|||
1/4 | teaspoon | pepper | |
|
Bake pie crust at 350 degrees for 6 minutes or until set; allow to cool.
Layer crust with 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce, pepperoni, green pepper, onion and the remaining cheese.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, cream, salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly and pour over filling. Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden and knife inserted in filling comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes before cutting.
